Bucknell Women's Swimming and Diving Lands League-Best 23 on PL Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's swimming and diving team placed 23 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Thursday. The total was the highest among the eight PL schools, while Lafayette came in second with 19 student-athletes making the list.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter in one of the Patriot League's six winter or 10 spring championship sports.
Leading the way for the Bison were rising-sophomore Eliza Massie (Rochester, N.Y./Pittsford Sutherland) and recent graduate Katherine Munson (New Fairfield, Conn./New Fairfield) as the duo was part of a group of eight individuals on the list who posted perfect 4.0 grade-point averages this spring. Munson, an English major, was recently named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II At-Large second team.
Bucknell and Lafayette were followed by American with 14 total selections, while Holy Cross had 11, Colgate 10, Navy eight, Lehigh six and Army five to round out the list.
