LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's tennis team overpowered Mount St. Mary's, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at the Bucknell Varsity Tennis Courts. The Bison, now 6-10 (0-2 PL) on the season, will host Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, April 7, at 1 p.m.
After taking a early victory by default, the team of sophomores Jonathan Brenner (Manhasset, N.Y./Chaminade) and Ryan Sandburg (Orange, Calif./Canyon) clinched the doubles point for the Orange and Blue by defeating Favio Osorio and Thad Mostowtt, 8-1, in the No. 1 spot, to take an early 1-0 lead heading into singles play. Juniors Ira Reibeisen (Armonk, N.Y./Rye Country Day-Upper) and Ben Young (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) posted a No. 2 doubles win over Jeff Lamberton and Rob Dupaya, 8-7(7-5).
