LEWISBURG, Pa. - For the second week in a row, Bucknell freshman infielder Ben Yoder (Belleville, Pa./Indian Valley) was named the Patriot League Baseball Rookie of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday. The award is the second career honor for Yoder, who is currently fourth in the Patriot League with a .377 batting average.
Yoder started all five games in a 4-1 week for the Orange and Blue and hit safely in every contest, posting four multiple-hit performances against Lehigh to stretch his current hitting streak to seven games.

In the 10th inning of game two against the Mountain Hawks, Yoder doubled and scored what would be the winning run for the Bison in the 8-7 contest, coming home on a base hit by senior Ryan Gryskevicz (Dallas, Pa./Dallas).
In his 19 games on the year, Yoder has started on 13 occasions, registered 23 hits, 14 runs scored, three doubles, two triples and eight RBI.
