Weather Forces Postponements for Two Bison Teams

LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The winter storm that is blanketing the Eastern Seaboard with snow and rain has forced the postponement of two Bucknell athletics events. The women's lacrosse team was scheduled to play at Duquesne on Saturday, and that game has been pushed back a day to Sunday at 1 p.m. The women's golf team was scheduled to begin its spring season on Friday at The Shamrock Intercollegiate in Tega Cay, S.C., but the first round has been washed out. It will now be a 36-hole tournament with rounds beginning at 8:30 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
All other events are currently on as scheduled, including the men's lacrosse home game against Air Force, slated for Saturday at noon. Further schedule changes, if neccessary, will be announced on BucknellBison.com and the Bison Sports Hotline (570-577-1919).
