Bucknell Diver Jeffrey Manning Honored by ECAC

LEWISBURG, Pa. - After being named the Patriot League's Male Diver of the Week earlier in the day, Bucknell men's swimming and diving sophomore Jeffrey Manning (Bringhurst, Ind./Carroll Jr./Sr. High) earned recognition as the ECAC Male Diver of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.
In the non-scored Bison Invitational last Saturday, Manning won both diving events. He moved up to second in Bucknell history with career-best mark of 270.90 to place first on the one-meter board and scored 268.60 points in three-meter diving on his way to another victory.
The sophomore is currently ranked in the top-10 in the Patriot League for both diving events heading into the 2007 Patriot League Championships. The three-day PL meet will be held in Bucknell's Kinney Natatorium beginning on Thursday, Feb. 15, with the first session slated to begin at 10:30 a.m.
