Bucknell-St. John's Men's Lacrosse Game Postponed Until Sunday

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Due to lingering effects of this week's winter storm, the Bucknell-St. John's men's lacrosse game, originally scheduled for Saturday at 11 a.m., has been postponed one day and will now be played on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m. at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium. Admission is free.
The game will mark the season openers for both teams, which have never before met in men's lacrosse. The Bison, who are beginning their 40th season, return 10 starters and 25 lettermen from last year's squad that went 6-8. Despite the rare sub-.500 record, the Bison claimed a signature win over No. 1 Maryland and saw their eight losses come by a combined 25 goals.
St. John's, a member of the ECAC in men's lacrosse, went 4-9 last season.
