Bucknell Swimming & Diving Set to Host Patriot League Championships This Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - For the third time in history, the Bucknell swimming & diving teams will have the opportunity to compete for Patriot League titles in front of a home crowd as the Bison will play host to the 2007 Patriot League Championships this Friday, Saturday and Sunday Feb. 16-18, in Kinney Natatorium. Preliminaries are slated to begin at 10:30 a.m. on all three days, while the finals are set for 6 p.m.
Bucknell's men's squad finished its dual meet schedule with a record of 4-6 overall, 3-3 against league opponents, while the women ended 2006-07 at 3-5-1, 3-2-1 in the Patriot League. The Bison women will be looking for a fifth straight league championship, while the men will be in search of their second PL crown after having won back in 2003 when the league meet was held in Kinney Natatorium for the first time.
All-session tickets are $25, with a heat sheet included in the price. Admission prices for individual sessions have been set at $3 for trials and $5 for finals.
