Bucknell Men's Soccer Hosts Saint Francis (Pa.) Wednesday

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's soccer team returns home for the first time in nearly three weeks Wednesday night when it hosts Saint Francis (Pa.) at 7 p.m. at Varsity Soccer Field. Live video of the contest will be broadcast online for a small fee through SportsJuice.com and BucknellBison.com.

Bucknell Notes
- Bucknell had its seven-game unbeaten streak snapped Sunday at Colgate. The unbeaten streak was the fourth-longest in program history.
- Even though Bucknell had its seven-game unbeaten streak stopped at Colgate on Sunday, it still has a four-game unbeaten streak at home. The Bison, who are 2-1-2 at Varsity Soccer Field this year, have not lost at home since a 1-0 loss to Binghamton on Sept. 11.
- Wednesday's contest with Saint Francis (Pa.) begins a stretch where Bucknell is home for four games in a five-contest stretch. It is the second time this season the Bison will have four home matches within a five-game span. The last time it occurred, Bucknell was 3-0-2 over the stretch.
- Bucknell's loss at Colgate on Sunday ended a six-game unbeaten streak against Patriot League foes. The Bison had not lost to a conference opponent since dropping a 2-0 decision at American last Oct. 21.
- With three Patriot League games left this season, including Saturday's home match with Lafayette, Bucknell stands fourth in the conference standings with a 2-1-1 record. The top four teams in the final standings qualify for the Patriot League Tournament. The Bison, who won the postseason tournament last fall and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, have qualified for the Patriot League Tournament three of the last four years.
- Senior goalkeeper Joey Kuterbach registered six saves Sunday against Colgate to boost his season total to 46. He now has 207 in his career, just seven shy of 10th-place Bill Roberts on the Bison career list.
- Justin Wolf recorded his third assist of the season Sunday at Colgate. He now has 11 in his career, bringing him to within two of 10th place in Bucknell history.
- Conor O'Brien netted his third goal of the season Sunday at Colgate. He is tied for second on the team with Corey Curnutte and Mark Schmiegel. A total of four Bison have registered at least two goals this season. Just two had at least three goals last year.
About the Series with Saint Francis (Pa.)
- Bucknell and Saint Francis (Pa.) have squared off 10 times since the series began in 1997. The Bison hold a 5-3-2 edge and have not lost to the Red Flash since 2004. The two teams tied 1-1 in 2005 and Bucknell posted a 1-0 victory last year in Loretto, Pa.
About Saint Francis (Pa.)
- Saint Francis (Pa.) enters Wednesday's match with a 6-6-2 record. The Red Flash have lost just once in their last seven contests.
