LEWISBURG, Pa. - With two key Patriot League road games in a four-day span, the Bucknell men's basketball team has a busy week, but fans will still have plenty of opportunities to follow the Bison. First, Bucknell's weekly radio show, Bison Live!, has been moved to Wednesday to accommodate the travel plans of the men's basketball squad. Additionally, there is a Backcourt Club Luncheon slated for Thursday and a fan bus traveling to Annapolis, Md., for Friday's Bucknell-Navy game.
Bison Live! usually airs on Eagle 107 (107.3 FM) Thursday evenings, but has been moved to Wednesday this week due to the travel plans of the men's basketball team. The show will still originate from Damon's Grill on Route 15 in Lewisburg from 7-8 p.m. Host Doug Birdsong will be joined by coaches and athletes from the men's basketball, women's basketball and swimming and diving programs. Fans can also listen to Bison Live! through SportsJuice.com, which can be linked to from BucknellBison.com.
The monthly Backcourt Club Luncheon will take place Thursday at 11:45 at the Lewisburg Hotel. Bucknell head men's basketball coach Pat Flannery will talk about the season thus far and look ahead to the final month of the regular season. The luncheon is open to the public, with the $10 admission including a hot buffet lunch.
Friday's fan bus to the Navy game, which tips off at 9 p.m. and will be televised on ESPNU, will depart from in front of the Kenneth Langone Athletics & Recreation Center at 3:30 p.m. The cost is $34, which includes a game ticket, the bus trip and a stop at a pregame reception at the Loews Annapolis hotel.
