Bucknell's Sam Nana-Sinkam Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell linebacker Sam Nana-Sinkam (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township), one of the best in a bumper crop of Bison freshmen, was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday after another outstanding performance in Saturday's game at No. 7 Richmond.
Nana-Sinkam led all players in the game with 11 tackles, his second double-digit tackle effort in four games. The rookie outside linebacker has started every game thus far, and he ranks second on the team, fifth in the Patriot League and 28th in all of Division I-AA football with 38 tackles (9.5 per game).
Nana-Sinkam had 15 tackles in a season-opening overtime victory over Duquesne and nine in a win over Cornell, in addition to the 11 against Richmond. He also has one sack thus far.
Bucknell lost at Richmond 48-21 but stands at 2-2 on the season heading into this Saturday's game at Marist.
