LEWISBURG, Pa. - Two members of the Bucknell women's soccer team were honored by the Patriot League with weekly awards on Monday as senior Katie Dry (Rochester, N.Y./Our Lady of Mercy) was named BRINE Goalkeeper of the Week and sophomore Renee Bernardo (Old Tappan, N.J./Northern Valley) was selected as the BRINE Defensive Player of the Week.
Sophomore Renee Bernardo was named PL Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. |
Dry, who earns the award for a second consecutive week, held No. 7 Penn State scoreless for the final 77:14 of Sunday's match and made eight saves in the 1-0 setback as the Bison were outshot, 24-3.
