Bucknell Paces Patriot League with Eight Selections to Patriot League Men's Golf Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Eight members of the Bucknell men's golf team were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced last week. The Bison led the league and accounted for one-fourth of the 32 men's golf players cited.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
Charlie Waddell (Wilmette, Ill./Lake Forest Academy), the only golfer in conference history to repeat as Patriot League champion, was one of Bucknell's eight selections.
Elsewhere around the league, Lehigh had seven Honor Roll members, while Army and Navy had five apiece. Colgate (4) and Holy Cross (3) rounded out the list.
Overall, Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 215 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll in the 14 winter/spring sports the league recognizes.
