Bucknell Claims Highest Total on Patriot League Football Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell football team landed 24 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced on Friday. The total gave the Bison the highest number of student-athletes on the football Honor Roll as Holy Cross was second with 20 honorees.
The 24 Honor Roll members is the second-highest total in history by a Bison football squad, matching the team's 24 selections in 2003. To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the fall semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
Elsewhere around the league, Georgetown had 15 Honor Roll members, Lafayette and Fordham 13, Lehigh five and Colgate four.
