Gentile and Curd Named to Patriot League Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Krista Lee Gentile (North Haledon, N.J./Immaculate Heart Academy) and senior Shannon Curd (Westtown, N.Y./Minisink Valley) were both named to the Patriot League Women's Soccer All-Tournament team, the league office announced on Sunday.
Gentile scored the lone goal for Bucknell in the 82nd minute of its 2-1 setback against Colgate in the Patriot League semifinal on Friday evening to move to 10 goals and four assists for 24 points on the season. She is tied for fourth on Bucknell's career goals and points list with 28 and 67, respectively.
Curd, the 2005 Patriot League Tournament MVP, finished the year with a goal and two assists for four points and started all 17 matches this season.
In 2006, the Bison matched program bests for overall and league win totals and, with a record of 12-5-1, also posted the highest winning percentage in school history at .735. Bucknell finished the regular season at 6-1-0 and captured a share of the Patriot League regular season title.
