Game Notes
Bucknell opens its first homestand of the season Thursday night against St. Bonaventure at Sojka Pavilion. Two days later the Bison will host Marist. Bucknell will enter the contest with the Bonnies well rested as the four idle days since their last outing, a 58-40 loss to Richmond in Cancun, Mexico, is the longest stretch they have had all year. Hope Foster and Lindsey Hollobaugh continue to be Bucknell's main offensive options as they have combined to score nearly 47 percent of the team's points. Foster is averaging 16.0 points, good for second in the Patriot League, while Hollobaugh ranks sixth with her 13.4 points per game average. Jacquie Seawright has come on of late, averaging 9.3 points over the last three contests to up her season average to 6.0. St. Bonaventure, which is 3-3 on the year, will be playing its first game outside of New York, and just its second road contest of the campaign. The Bonnies are 0-1 on the road this year.
ABOUT ST. BONAVENTURE
St. Bonaventure enters Thursday's contest fresh off a win against the Patriot League's Colgate. The Bonnies upended the Raiders 70-49 last weekend behind a balanced scoring attack that featured three players in double figures. Andrea Doneth, who received her first start of the season, tallied a team-high 15 points. Audrey Latendresse leads St. Bonaventure in scoring at 14.5 points per game as three Bonnies are averaging at least 8.8 points per game.
BISON VS. BONNIES
Bucknell will look to end a six-game losing streak against St. Bonaventure on Thursday. The Bison last defeated the Bonnies in the 1985-86 season. That contest was the first meeting in the series. The last time the two squads met was in 2002-03 with St. Bonaventure winning 78-64 in Olean, N.Y. Bucknell lost 72-59 in 2001-02, the last time the series was played in Lewisburg.
WITH A VICTORY OVER ST. BONAVENTURE, BUCKNELL WOULD...
...open a season with at least a 5-3 record for the first time since 2000-01 when the Bison began the campaign 7-1
...end a six-game losing streak to the Bonnies
...improve to 1-2 against Atlantic 10 foes this year
...improve to 3-0 at Sojka Pavilion
...remain undefeated against New York teams this year

FOSTER CONTINUES TO PILE UP BLOCKS
Junior forward Hope Foster, who already owns the Bucknell career and single-season blocked shots record, has piled up an amazing 41 blocks in seven games this year. After setting a Bucknell record for blocks in a single game with eight against Hampton, she surpassed that with 11 against Michigan State one week later to tie the Patriot League single-game standard.

24 CONSECUTIVE FREE THROWS
By making her second free throw attempt against Saint Joseph's, Hope Foster began a streak of making a career-best 24 consecutive free throws. She did not miss again until her final attempt against Richmond. Included in the streak was a career-best 9-for-9 performance against Monmouth. Foster's previous best streak was six in a row on two occasions.
500 REBOUNDS
With seven rebounds against St. Bonaventure, Hope Foster will join Bucknell's 500-rebound club. The junior, who finished her sophomore campaign with 430 rebounds, has a chance at challenging Vicki Quimby's program record of 902. In fact, Foster could break into the top 10 later this year. Bobbi Castens holds down the 10th spot with 677 boards.
BUSY NOVEMBER
Thursday's game with St. Bonaventure marks the end of a busy November for Bucknell. The Bison will have played a record eight games in the month. Five games, which has occured six times, was the old high.
UNLUCKY 10
All three of Bucknell's losses this season have come against teams from conferences with the number "10" in their names. The Bison have lost to Atlantic 10 foes Saint Joseph's and Richmond as well as Big Ten opponent Michigan State. St. Bonaventure plays in the Atlantic 10 and Bucknell will attempt to defeat a current Atlantic 10 squad for the first time since 2001-02, a span of five losses.
THE EMPIRE STATE
Bucknell will be facing its third opponent from New York this season in St. Bonaventure. The Bison are 2-0 with wins over Columbia and Cornell. Bucknell has won three straight opposite New York foes, and is 9-2 in its last 11 contests against New York teams.
800TH GAME
Saturday's contest at Marist will mark the 800th game in the 34-year history of the Bucknell program. The Bison are 354-444 all-time.
TIRELESS HOLLOBAUGH
Senior guard Lindsey Hollobaugh entered this year averaging 36.1 minutes per game in her stellar career. That figure has only increased as she has played all but 12 minutes in the first seven games this season and is averaging a team-high 38.3 minutes. She has played 40 minutes three times.
IMPROVED FREE THROW SHOOTING
While her defense has been grabbing headlines, Hope Foster has improved on the offensive end this year. Her scoring average has increased by nearly six points per game, partly due to her improved free throw shooting. After making just over 62 percent of her free throws her first two seasons, Foster is making foul shots at a Patriot League-best 88.9 percent clip this year. As a team, Bucknell is shooting 71.0 percent from the line. That figure would rank as the eighth-best in program history. The top three free throw shooting years have all come in this decade.
500 POINTS ON HORIZON
With four more points Kesha Champion will join Lindsey Hollobaugh and Hope Foster to give the Bison three players with at least 500 career points on the roster. Sophomores Amanda Brown and Lauren Schober, who each netted just less than 300 points as freshmen, could join the 500-point club by the end of this year as well.
FOSTER STAYING IN THE GAME
While Hope Foster has had a propensity to pick up fouls this year, finishing each of the season's first six contests with four, she has not yet fouled out of a game. In fact, the junior shot blocker is averaging nearly 36 minutes per game and has fouled out of just four games in her career. She is averaging 3.7 fouls per game.
