Bucknell Places Most in Patriot League on Men's Swimming and Diving Academic Honor Roll

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell men's swimming and diving team placed 14 student-athletes on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, it was announced by the league office Thursday. The 14 Honor Roll members were the most by any of the league's men's swimming and diving teams.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and be awarded a varsity letter.
Highlighting the Bison honored was junior diver Adam Freeman. Named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete for men's swimming and diving in April, Freeman posted a 3.75 grade-point average while majoring in mechanical engineering.
Elsewhere around the league, American had 11 Honor Roll members, Navy 10 and Colgate nine, while Army, Holy Cross, Lafayette and Lehigh had eight each. Seventy-six members of the league's men's swimming and diving teams were named to the Honor Roll.
Bucknell paced the Patriot League with 199 total student-athletes earning positions on the Honor Roll.
