To All Members of the Bucknell Community:
It was with great sadness that Maryjane and I received the news Mark Oppong's passing. Mark was a vibrant young man whose loss will be felt by our entire community. At times such as these, words are difficult and grief immense. Our thoughts are with Mark's family as they grieve. Many of the Bucknell community are part of Mark's extended family and we will be grieving as well. The days ahead will be difficult, but strength and comfort are found in unity. As you see Mark's teammates from the football team and his friends from his hall, please take a moment to acknowledge their grief and offer a few words of comfort.
