
Bison Fall to Army 6-1 in Patriot League Men's Tennis Action

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Freshman Ira Reibeisen won his match at two singles for the lone Bison point on the day as the Bucknell men's tennis squad dropped a 6-1 decision to Army on Friday afternoon at the Bucknell Tennis Courts. The Bison fall to 5-10 overall, 0-3 in the Patriot League as the Black Knights, who are ranked 73rd in the this week's ITA poll, improve to 13-3, 1-0 in league play.
Reibeisen improved his team leading singles record to 9-6 defeating Army's Sebastian Salas, 6-4, 6-3. The Bison played well in their doubles matches, falling just short of two wins with Reibeisen and Asher Salam dropping a tight match to Carl Fisher and John Houghton, 8-6, at one doubles. Nick Denefrio and John Lashnits also suffered a tough defeat at two doubles, losing to Kyle Roybal and Salas by an 8-6 margin.
The Bison will finish out the weekend with a road contest against Delaware on Sunday. The match is slated to begin at 1 p.m. in Newark, Del.
