Bucknell's Corrine Keller Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Bucknell women's basketball team picked up its first Patriot League weekly award of the season Monday when freshman Corrine Keller (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Athena) was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
Filling in for an injured Lindsey Hollobaugh, Keller made her first career start during Bucknell's 71-60 win over High Point at the Air Force Classic Saturday. She scored a career-high 12 points and grabbed a career-high six rebounds as well in 35 minutes of action. She made 5 of 9 field goals and chipped in two steals on the defensive end of the floor.
On Friday night during a 58-41 loss to the host Falcons, Keller came off the bench to score six points and haul in three rebounds. She added one steal and one block in her 24 minutes of playing time.
Keller, who plays both guard and forward, has appeared in six games and is averaging 4.3 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
The Bison are idle until Dec. 17 when they travel to Maryland Eastern Shore for a 6 p.m. game.
