Bucknell Women's Soccer NCAA First Round Game to be Broadcast on 90.5 WVBU

LEWISBURG, Pa. - The 2005 Patriot League Champion Bucknell women's soccer team's NCAA Tournament First Round game against Penn State, scheduled for Friday, Nov. 11, at Jeffery Field at 5 p.m., in University Park, Pa., will be broadcast live on WVBU 90.5 FM and on the internet at www.sportsjuice.com.
"Voice of the Bison" Doug Birdsong will have the play-by-play duties for the match along with the pre-game show, which will begin at 4:45 p.m.
Tickets for the fan bus, available on a first-come, first-serve basis, are $5, payable by cash or check upon boarding the bus. To reserve a seat, or for more information, call 570-577-1771. The bus will depart campus from in front of the athletic center at 3:15 p.m., and will return following the game.
Tickets for the match will be available at the gate and will be $7 for adults and $3 for youth, student (with valid student ID) and senior citizen tickets.
The Bison are 11-8-1 on the season and earned an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament with a 3-1 victory over Army on Sunday in the Patriot League Championship. Penn State is 19-0-1 on the season and was ranked No. 1 in the nation over the past month. The Lions are coming off their eighth-straight Big Ten regular season championship and are making their 11th consecutive NCAA appearance.
