LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell field hockey's senior goalkeeper, Liz Jordan (Towson, Md./St. Paul's) earned a spot on the 2005 ECAC All-Star team for the first time in her career, ECAC officials announced on Monday, November 28.
Three other PL athletes were named all-stars, in American's Camila Infante, Javiera Villagra and Maureen Daniel. Infante received the ECAC Player of the Year honor.
Earlier this year, Jordan received second team Dartfish/NFHCA All-Mideast Region honors, as well as first team All-PL honors, along with being named the PL's Goalkeeper of the Year. Jordan was also chosen to play in the 2005 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star Game, which took place on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. She also received the league's Defensive Player of the Week award twice and the ECAC's Goalie of the Week honor once this season.
Jordan compiled 190 saves on the season, ranking her first in the Patriot League and third nationally, while also recording a save percentage of .819, also topping the PL and ranking as the nation's number three goalie. Her 475 career-saves ranks her eighth in the league.
The senior goalkeeper has earned three total PL All-League awards and two All-Mideast Region honors in her four-year career as the Bison's net-minder.
