Liz Jordan Picks Up Another Weekly Honor

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Senior goalkeeper, Liz Jordan (Towson, Md./St. Paul's), of the Bucknell field hockey team received the ECAC Goalie of the Week award for her performance last week. This is Jordan's first ECAC award of the season.
In two games, Jordan led her team to two 2-1 victories over Towson and Patriot League foe Lehigh. Jordan also received the PL's Defensive Player of the Week award for her efforts last week.
Against Towson, Jordan compiled 14 saves and allowed just one goal, for a save percentage of .933. In the Lehigh game, Jordan recorded a career-high of 25 saves, in double overtime, allowing just one goal, for a save percentage of .962. The victory against Lehigh set the Orange and Blue at second in the PL.
The senior goalkeeper is currently ranked second in the nation in save percentage (.823) and is tied for third in saves (181).
Bucknell finished regular season play last Saturday, and will travel to Washington, D.C., for the PL Tournament, hosted by the first place finisher in the league, No. 7 American. The Bison are scheduled to play the number three seed in the tournament, Holy Cross, on Saturday, November 5, at 1:30 p.m.
