LEWISBURG, Pa. - Juniors Lindsey Hollobaugh (Loganton, Pa./Central Mountain) and Jacquie Seawright (Olton, Texas/Olton) have been elected co-captains of the Bucknell women's basketball team for the 2005-06 season, head coach Kathy Fedorjaka announced. The duo was selected in a vote by its teammates.
Hollobaugh, who was the 2004 Patriot League Rookie of the Year, earned second-team all-league plaudits last year after leading the team in scoring with 14.9 points per game. That figure ranked third in the Patriot League. The Loganton, Pa., native also completed her sophomore year third in the league in free throw shooting (.806) and 12th in field goal percentage (.417).
Hollobaugh, who has 899 career points, reached double figures on 24 occasions last year. She has scored at least 10 points 50 times in 57 career games. In 2004-05, she reached the 20-point plateau three times, including scoring a season-high 27 points against Fairleigh Dickinson Jan. 17. A durable player, Hollobaugh averaged 36.9 minutes per game last year and was on the court all 40 minutes 11 times.
Along with her scoring prowess, Hollobaugh completed the regular season second on the team in rebounding from her guard position with 5.1 per game. The 5-9 guard also finished second on the squad with 71 assists.

Despite missing all but 10 games of her freshman season with an injury, Seawright averaged more than 12 points and five rebounds per game during her two seasons as a Lady Texan. Last year she was fourth on the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game, and played in all but one of the team's 35 contests. She also earned the best overall student-athlete grade-point average.
While at Olton High School, which she graduated from third in her class in 2003, Seawright was nominated for McDonald's All-America honors and was the most valuable player in her district. A second-team all-state selection as a senior, she was first-team all-region the same season, and was named the Amarillo Globe News/Golden Spread 2A Player of the Year. A first-team all-district choice as a junior, and an honorable mention all-district player as a sophomore, Seawright also was a member of the cross country and track and field teams at Olton, where she was named the school's best all-around athlete as both a junior and senior.
The 5-11 forward is one of five newcomers to the Bison roster that is composed of four freshmen, five sophomore and three juniors in 2005-06.
Bucknell, which officially kicks off its season with Friday night's Midnight Mania event at Sojka Pavilion, is just over a month away from its first game as the Bison battle Stony Brook Nov. 18.
