Field Hockey's Costopoulos Named Lewisburg Hotel Bison Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell athletics announced today that field hockey player Callista Costopoulos (Sherman's Dale, Pa./West Perry) is the Lewisburg Hotel Bison Athlete of the Week.
Costopoulos, a sophomore, helped her team to a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac yesterday at Graham Field. Costopoulos netted the game winner with 6:11 to go in the game on assists from teammates Alex Kyzmir and Cara Turner.
The goal was Costopoulos' first of the year and it was the first win of the season for the Bison. The victory was also the 100th career win for head coach Heather Lewis.
Earlier in the week, Costopoulos notched two assists to teammate Meiko Boynton in a 3-2 loss to Drexel in overtime.
Bucknell will be in action again on Tuesday when they take on St. Francis (Pa.) at 6 p.m. on Graham Field.
