Bucknell Women's Golf Tied for Ninth at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Bucknell's women's golf squad shot 342 on Saturday and rests in a three-way tie for ninth place in a field of 15 at the Princeton Invitational. The Bison also entered a "B" squad, which is in 14th place after compiling a score of 374.
Leading the primary squad was newcomer Amy Loughney with an 82. Jaime Hays and Kathryn Batchelor each shot 86, followed by Emily Chiodo at 88 and Kristen Phalen with 90. Bucknell's low score actually came from "B" team member Carolyn Clarkin, who fired a 9-over 81.
Host Princeton has two teams among the top three. The Tigers shot 315 Saturday, and their second team is tied for second with Princeton at 320. Penn at 328 and Harvard at 330 round out the top five. Bucknell is tied with Siena and Dartmouth at 342.
Princeton's Meg Nakamura and Avery Kiser are 1-2 individually with rounds of 73 and 75, respectfully.
