LEWISBURG, Pa. - Sophomore Caitlyn Kuntz was named the first Lewisburg Hotel Bison Athlete of the Week of 2004-05 after scoring the game-winning goal against Towson with just nine seconds remaining in the second overtime period of Sunday's 2-1 victory. Kuntz took a rebound from a Suzanne Arata shot in traffic and found the back of the net to give the Bison their fifth consecutive win in a home opener. The Chatham, N.J., native's goal was the first of her career after appearing in five contests as a freshman without tallying a point. Bucknell, which has won four straight season-opening contests, defeated Towson in its first game for the second straight year. In 2003, the Bison nipped the Tigers by a 1-0 score. Bucknell returns to the field Tuesday, Aug. 31, at West Fields against Georgetown. Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
