Softball Changes Weekend Schedule Due to Impending Rain

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Due to more bad weather approaching the Lehigh Valley this weekend, the Bucknell softball four-game series with Lehigh, originally scheduled to be played Saturday and Sunday, has been moved to Friday and Saturday in order to try to beat the impending rain.
The Bison will now face the Mountain Hawks at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, April 9, for the first doubleheader of the series. The games will be played at Patriot's Park in Allentown, Pa. (directions follow), because the facility has a lighted field and darkness will not play a factor in getting the games in.
Saturday's doubleheader does not change from the original schedule. The Orange and Blue will see the opening pitch at 1 p.m. at Lehigh's Kaufman Field.
Bucknell is 7-13 overall and 3-5 in Patriot League play. The Mountain Hawks carry a 25-11-2 overall record into the games, and a 6-2 conference record. Those unable to make it to the games can listen to the live audio broadcast found on the Lehigh website at www.lehighsports.com.

From Route 80
Turnpike- North East Extension (Route 476)
To Route 22 East
Take Route 22 East-get off at the 15th Street Exit
Make a right towards Allentown
Follow 15th Street, (you will pass the Allentown YMCA)
Bear left and continue over a bridge
Make a left onto St. John's street
Patriot's Park will be on your right.
