COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Ten different players scored for Bucknell as the Bison women's water polo team defeated Maryland 11-3 in Southern Division League action on Sunday, March 7. Blitzer leads the charges with two goals and two assists.
The Bison jumped out to a 4-1 lead, holding the Terps scoreless in the first quarter. The Orange and Blue came out to keep Maryland off the board again in the third, building a 7-1 advantage entering the fourth.
Freshman goalkeeper Mandy Bynum made 11 saves for the Bison, allowing just three goals.
Bucknell is 6-4 overall and 2-2 in the Southern Division. The Orange and Blue are back in action when they head to California for their annual spring break trip.
