Bucknell Spring Football Schedule Announced

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Looking to build on one of the best turnaround seasons in school history, the Bucknell football team will begin spring football practice on Tuesday, March 30 at 6:15 p.m. The Bison will have 15 spring workouts, the last of which will be the annual Orange and Blue Spring Game on Saturday, Apr. 24 at 7 p.m. at Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium.
All practices are open to the public. Please note that the practice times and dates listed below are subject to change depending on weather conditions. Please call the Bucknell football office at 570-577-3140 or the athletic communications office at 570-577-1227 to confirm practice times.
Under first-year head coach Tim Landis, Bucknell last season finished in third place in the Patriot League with a 4-3 record (6-6 overall). The Bison had been picked to place eighth in the league in the preseason poll after finishing 2-9 in 2002.
Two other dates of note this spring are the annual Football Family Funfest and Junior Bison Club party in the stadium on Sunday, Apr. 18 at 2 p.m., and the First Annual Bucknell Coaches' Clinic on Apr. 24 at 1:30 p.m., prior to the Spring Game.
