Men's Golf Sweeps Top Three Places at Bucknell Invitational

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bison golfer Kyle Moran shot rounds of 74 and 72 to win the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday at the Bucknell Golf Club. Moran and teammates Alex Dolle and Charlie Waddell took the top three positions, guaranteeing Bucknell a spot at the top of the team standings in the two day invitational.
Dolle finished second shooting 71 on Saturday and 75 on Friday. Waddell took third place with rounds of 76 and 71. Bison Tom Lane, who led the competition after day one, finished in a tie for fifth with rounds of 70 and 80.
Also involved in the fifth-place tie was Patrick Yingling shooting 76 and 74. Keita Aoki rounded out the Bison golfers in the top 20 competitors, finishing in a four-way tie for eighth place carding rounds of 76 and 75.
Bucknell took the team crown totaling 584 strokes over two days. Cornell took second with 604 followed narrowly by St. Francis (Pa.) with 608.
The Bucknell Invitational is the last fall competition for the Bison. Bucknell is set to hit the links again in April.
