
Bison Men's Golf Leads Bucknell Invitational After Round One

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Three Bison golfers finished in the top five individually, propelling Bucknell to the front of the field after the first day of competition at the Bucknell Invitational on Friday at the Bucknell University Golf Club. Bison junior Tom Lane leads the contest after round one, shooting an even-par 70.
After Lane, Bison Alex Dolle shot 71, for the second-best round of the day. Kyle Moran is currently tied for fourth place shooting 74. Four Bison are knotted in a nine-way tie for ninth place with rounds of 76. Charlie Waddell and Keita Aoki recorded rounds of 76 while Patrick Yingling and Stuart Lindgeren carded the same score playing for Bucknell's "B" squad.
In the seven team competition, Bucknell totaled 291 after round one, 12 shots ahead of Navy with 303. St. Bonaventure is currently in third place with 307, followed by St. Francis (Pa.) with 308.
Round two will pick up on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Bucknell Invitational is the last scheduled outing for the Bison golfers this fall. The Bison hit the links again in April.
