
Men's Tennis Drops 5-2 Decision at Delaware

NEWARK, Del. - Bucknell's men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Delaware on Sunday, March 16. The Bison won one doubles match, and picked up victories in two singles bouts.
Senior Todd Jacobs and freshman Asher Salam teamed up to represent BU's lone doubles win. The tandem defeated Sanjay Khindri and Josh Ditman, 8-6, at the second flight.
In singles play, Salam got the Orange and Blue on the scoreboard with a 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over Robert Wirth at number three. Sophomore Joe Menezes followed with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against Dustin Lewis at the fourth flight for Bucknell's two points.
The Bison fall to 1-8 overall. The squad is back in action on Saturday, March 22, when it travels to St. Bonaventure for a 9:00 a.m. match against the Bonnies, followed by a 1:00 p.m. match with Buffalo.
