Bucknell Men's Tennis Drops 6-1 Decision to Rhodes College on Spring Break Trip

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - The Bucknell men's tennis team got the spring break trip started in Hilton Head Island, S.C., dropping a 6-1 decision to Rhodes College on Monday, March 10, 2003. Senior Todd Jacobs was BU's lone singles winner, picking up the point for the Bison.
In doubles play, sophomores Nick Denefrio and Gerald DiChiara teamed up at number one to defeat Andy Campbell and Duncan Howell, 8-5. The Lynx claimed the other two doubles matches to take the doubles point.
Jacobs took on Howell at the second flight, picking up a 7-5, 6-1, decision for Bucknell's lone point. Freshman Asher Salam took Logan Stevens to a third set before falling 4-6, 6-3, 3-6 at number three.
Bucknell falls to 0-5 in the spring. The Bison face IPFW on March 12 at 8:00 a.m.
