Bison Women's Hoops Player Lindsey Hollobaugh Named Freshman of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell rookie women's basketball player Lindsey Hollobaugh (Loganton, Pa./Central Mountain) has picked up the Patriot League's Freshman of the Week award, presented for the week ending November 30, 2003. It is the first conference honor of Hollobaugh's career.
A 5-9 guard, Hollobaugh averaged 14.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week for the Bison. In a loss against Loyola (Md.), she tossed in 10 points and pulled down five rebounds, while also leading the team with a career-best five assists.
Hollobaugh came out against Coppin State and contributed with 19 points and 10 rebounds for her first career double-double in a 69-64 victory over the Lady Eagles. She was 8-for-13 from the field in the contest, and 3-for-3 from the charity stripe.
For the season, Hollobaugh leads the team in scoring with 16.3 points per game, and is second on the squad in rebounding with 6.7 caroms each night out. She is also the squad-leader in field goal percentage, hitting .526 from her guard position.
Bucknell is 1-2 on the year and hosts Bowling Green in a non-conference game on Wednesday, December 3, at 7:00 p.m.
