Women's Soccer Player Meaghan Ferris Earns Second-Team All-Patriot League Honors

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell sophomore Meaghan Ferris (Boxford, Mass./Masconomet Regional) has been named to the 2003 All-Patriot League women's soccer team, announced by the Patriot League on Wednesday, November 5. Ferris earned second-team honors for the first time in her career.
A defender for the Bison, Ferris contributed one goal this season and was the linchpin to the Bucknell defensive unit that recorded four shutouts on the year. A starter in all 16 of the team's games this year, Ferris' goal came in BU's season-opening 1-0 victory over Towson.
For her career, she has scored two goals from her defensive position, both game-winners in 1-0 decisions.
The 2003 Bucknell women's soccer team finished the season 7-6-3 overall and 2-3-2 in Patriot League play.
