Gaskin Falls in Consolation Singles Final at ECAC Tourney

West Point, N.Y. - Rheanna Gaskin fell to fifth-seeded Kristen Harris of Howard, 8-5, in the final of the number one singles flight consolation draw, completing play for the Bison at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament at Army. All back draw matches were played in pro-set format.
Bucknell's three other participants, Tanya Sichko in flight two, Samantha Berthod in flight three, and Chelsea Mills in flight four, completed their play on Saturday. The Bison did not enter a doubles team.
Gaskin finished 3-2, dropping her first match on Friday in the main draw, and moving into the back draw where she won her next three before today's loss. Sichko finished 1-2, also dropping her main-draw opener before picking up one back draw win and one loss. Berthod finished 1-1, playing entirely in the main draw, winning her first match and dropping her second, while Mills finished 3-1, winning three in the main draw before falling in the main draw semifinals.
The Bison will complete their fall season in two weeks, October 17-19, at the Patriot League Flighted Tournament at Lehigh.
