
BU Men's Water Polo Beats Gannon, 14-12

PRINCETON, N.J. - Sophomore Bradley Roslyn scored a squad-best four goals against Gannon, leading the Bucknell men's water polo team to a 14-12 victory over the Golden Knights at Southern Division Inter-regional competition at Princeton on Saturday, October 18.
The Bison snuck by Gannon, despite a nine-goal performance from the Golden Knights' Charles Doane.
In addition to Roslyn's four goals, seven other players scored for Bucknell. Juniors Jay Danforth, Nick Ferring and Aaron Platshon all had two goals a piece, while senior Scott Afzal, junior Paul Yerkes, and sophomores Brad Unroe and Lars Weborg scored once in the game.
Sophomore Trevor Mullins and freshman Michael McManigal split time in goal for BU. Mullins played the entire first half, stopping seven Gannon shots while allowing only four goals. McManigal made two saves for the Orange and Blue in the second half.
Bucknell improves to 6-16 overall and 2-5 in Southern Division competition. The Bison will face the winner of the Washington & Jefferson/Salem International game, being played later this evening, in the fifth-place game at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday, October 19.
