Bucknell Women's Soccer Plays to 1-1 Draw With Florida International

Miami, Fla. - The Bucknell women's soccer team earned its second draw of the year at Florida International this afternoon as each school scored once. Shannon Curd had her fourth goal on the season for the Bison as Bison goalies Samantha Hecht and Katie Dry combined to earn the deadlock.
The Golden Panthers launched just six shots to Bucknell's 16, while FIU goalie Juliana Gomez had seven saves to Bucknell's one. Hecht played just under 28 minutes while Dry minded the net for 62-plus minutes.
Curd's goal came on an assist by Suzanne Arata, while Melanie Delahanty scored past Dry on an assist from Tamara Kochen.
The Bison will play again on Saturday, Oct. 18 at noon against Holy Cross in Patriot League action.
