Bucknell's Jamie Flick Named Athlete of ther Week for Swimming

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's sophomore swimmer, Jamie Flick (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) was named Patriot League Women's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Flick assisted the Bison to their fifth win of the season. Bucknell won a 190-110 decision over Colgate, Saturday afternoon.
Flick received a gold medal in three events against the Raiders. She assisted the Bison in the 200-medley relay with a first place finish (1:50.59). Flick swam the second split of the race in 31.84. The sophomore captured first in the 100-breaststroke with a time of 1:07.48. She also received the gold in the 200-breaststroke with a 2:26.44 mark. In the final race of the afternoon, Flick finished sixth in the individual medley with a time of 2:18.84.
The men's and women's squads will take the upcoming week off of competition and will prepare to host Lehigh on Saturday, Feb. 1 in Kinney Natatorium.
