
Bison Men's Soccer Player Scott Visnic Named Bull Run Inn Athlete of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Freshman Scott Visnic (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) a member of the Bucknell University men's soccer team, has been named the Bull Run Inn Bison Athlete of the Week for the week ending September 29.
In a 2-0 week for the Bison, Visnic was a vital part of the offensive unit that scored seven goals in two games. On September 24, the rookie scored what would prove to be the game-winning-goal in a 5-1 win over Niagara. He later added an assist on Bucknell's third goal of the game. On September 29, Visnic gave the Orange and Blue an insurance goal in a 2-0 win over Monmouth.
For the week, Visnic scored two goals and had one assist, bringing his season totals to three goals and two assists for eight points. His goal total is tied for the team-lead and he is tied for second on the squad in points.
Bucknell is 8-1 overall, the best start for the program since the 1974 season. The Bison close out a five-game homestand with a contest against Philadelphia University on Tuesday, October 1.
