Bison Track & Field Completes Day One of ECAC/IC4A Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Bucknell University track & field teams had four athletes compete in the first day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships on Friday at Princeton University's William Weaver Stadium.
Junior Greg Costello turned in the Bison's highest finish on day one of the championships. The distance specialist came in fourth among 20 competitors in the 10,000-meter run with a season-best time of 30:27.75.
Also performing extremely well in the 10,000 was junior Theresa Dennis, who finished ninth out of 17 runners with a 36:44.96 clocking.
Junior Bryan Johnston and sophomore Nicholas Mousetis were also on the track and competed in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. With a time of 9:04.98, Johnston placed 12th in a championship field of 26. Mousetis came in 23rd at 9:27.01.
The three-day event will continue through Saturday and Sunday.
