
Bucknell Women's Tennis Falls to Army, 5-2

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Nadezda Curcic and Tanya Sichko captured straight-set singles decisions, but Army won the remaining four singles matches and swept the doubles to take a 5-2 decision over Bucknell in a Patriot League match Sunday afternoon.
The Bison are now 9-7 overall, 0-3 in the Patriot League.
Curcic defeated Ali Rohr 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, while Sichko stopped Jaclyn Ott 6-1, 7-5 at No. 5 for the Bison's lone points. At No. 3 singles, Bucknell's Ashley Diers lost a close duel with Melissa Sentelle, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4.
Army also received singles wins from Annie Collier at No. 1, Maelynn Bernosky at No. 4 and Lauren Leftin at No. 6. The Black Knights easily captured the three doubles matches by scores of 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0.
Bucknell returns to action this Tuesday against Patriot League rival Lehigh at 3:30 p.m.
