LEWISBURG, Pa. - After helping Bucknell finish among the three at the Colonial Relays, Bison track & field standouts Erin Lee and Noel Powell have been named as the ECAC Field Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 7.
Lee won the hammer and discus as the Bison placed second out of 14 teams at the relays, hosted by the College of William & Mary. Her throw in the discus ranks as the second-best in school history, while her performance in the javelin is eighth-best in school history.
Powell paced the Bison to a third-place finish at the Colonial Relays by winning the long jump and running a leg on a pair of relay teams that took second. With a leap of 23'9", Powell beat out 15 competitors in the long jump. He also anchored both the 400m and 800m relay teams that finished with times of 42.45 and 1:28.29, respectively.
