Bison Women's Golf Finishes 12th at William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Bucknell shot a 332 on the second and final day of the William & Mary Invitational this afternoon and finished 12th out of 15 teams with a final score of 673.
Junior Jess Hetrich turned in the top performance for the Bison on the afternoon. Hetrich shot a 77 to finish with a two-day score of 159, and tied for 28th out of 86 golfers.
Senior Hilary Mainka finished one stroke behind Hetrich with a score of 160 and tied for 30th. Mainka recorded an 81 on the second day of the invitational.
Rounding out Bucknell's team scoring were freshmen Jaime Hays and Caitlin Sullivan. Hays shot an 83 today to finish in a tie for 62nd at 173. After posting a 91 on the second day of competition, Sullivan came in 69th with a 181-stroke effort.
Also competing for the Bison was senior Bridget O'Mara, who shot a 95 on the afternoon. O'Mara tied for 80th with a score of 196.
Bucknell continues its spring season on Saturday and Sunday with the Bucknell Invitational.
