Bison Drop 10-9 Hearbreaker In First Game of Loyola Marymount Invitational

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Bucknell women's water polo team came from behind to go ahead 9-8 in the fourth quarter against Redlands, but the Bulldogs scored two late goals to take a 10-9 game from the Orange and Blue.
The Bison trailed 8-4 at halftime, before scoring five unanswered to take a 9-8 lead. The comeback effort took too much out of the Orange and Blue and the Redlands capitalized by ending the game with two scores to earn the one goal victory.
Freshman Cody Keffer led Bucknell with four goals, while senior Adrienne Schober added two scores. Senior Brooke Rea, and freshmen Katie Hartigan and Eileen Ketterer rounded out the Bison scoring with one goal each. Ketterer also contributed two assists and won all four of the sprints.
Junior Lindsay Chesterfield recorded 16 saves in the losing effort.
Bucknell faces the host team, Loyola Marymount, later in the day.
