Bucknell's Adam Freeman Earns Third Diving Award

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's sophomore diver, Adam Freeman (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) has received the Patriot League Men's Diver of the Week award for the third time on Tuesday, Dec. 10. He was also named Bull Run Inn Bison Athlete of the week for the first time this season. During the Trials and Finals Invitational, Freeman crushed the one-meter 11-dive school record by 61.17 points.
Freeman received gold in both the diving events during the meet against University of New Hampshire and Fordham, during the two-day event this past weekend. Freeman now holds the school record in the one-meter 11-dive competition with a score of 475.95. He broke the record that was previously held by Bob Richards (1973) by 61.17 total points. Freeman received the gold medal in the three-meter 11-dive with 433.25 points. Bucknell clinched the meet with a combined a 1,198 score.
The Bison will travel to Florida over the winter break and will return to host Patriot League opponent Lafayette on January 11, at 2 p.m
