Bucknell's Meghan Freese Named Athlete of the Week for Swimming

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's junior swimmer, Meghan Freese (New Freedom, Pa./Susquahannock) was named Patriot League Women's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Freese assisted the Bison to a 141-100 victory over Army Saturday afternoon.
Freese assisted the 400-yard medley relay team to a first place finish with a time of 4:01.28. She continued the meet with a record-breaking performance in the 50 free and set the school record with a time of 24.26. Freese holds the fastest time in the Patriot League, this season, in the 50 free. She captured the gold with a time of 53.70 in the 100 free.
The men's and women's teams will host the Bucknell Trails and Finals meet on Dec. 7-8, which will include Cornell's women team and both New Hampshire and Fordham men's and women's squads.
