Bucknell's Molly Creamer Tabbed Patriot League Player of the Week

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Senior Molly Creamer (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham), a member of the Bucknell University women's basketball team, has been tabbed the Patriot League Player of the Week for the first time this season. The weekly honor included all games through November 24. It is the first time the award was presented for the 2002-03 season.
Creamer picked up where she left off last season, opening the year with a 28-point performance against 14th-ranked Penn State in the Pre-season WNIT. In addition to her game-high for points, she also pulled down four rebounds, handed out five assists and grabbed one steal.
The co-captain came out against St. Bonaventure and led the squad with 17 points. Creamer also recorded four rebounds, a game-high six assists, and one steal in the losing effort.
For the season, she is averaging 22.5 points per game and 5.5 assists per game.
The Bison are currently 0-2 overall. Bucknell opens the home ledger against West Virginia tonight in a 7:30 p.m. game. The Bison close out the 2002 home schedule with a game against Canisius on Wednesday, November 27, at 5:30 p.m., and a contest against Drexel on Friday, November 29, at 7:30 p.m.
