Bucknell's Darby Golino Named Bison Athlete of the Week for Swimming

LEWISBURG, Pa. - Bucknell's senior swimmer, Darby Golino (Milford, Conn./Our Lady of Academy) was named Bull Run Inn Bison Athlete of the Week on Monday, Nov. 18. Golino assisted the Bison with a pair of Patriot League victories on Saturday.
Golino captured first place in three out of four events against Navy and American. She swam the 100 backstroke in 59.28 and captured a time of 2:12.01 to receive the gold in the 200 IM. Tailing Lectie Altman, Golino recorded second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:08.31.
Golino assisted Jamie Flick, Mary Krakowski and Meghan Freese in the women's 200 medley relay and placed first with a time of 1:48.10. This places this relay team third on the All-Time list.
The men's and women's teams will host the Patriot League opponent Army on Saturday, Nov. 23 in Kinney Natatorium.
