
Bucknell Men's Water Polo Concludes Play at ECAC's with Eighth-Place Finish

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Bucknell men's water polo team dropped an 8-5 decision to Johns Hopkins in the seventh-place game of the ECAC Championship, held on Sunday, October 27. Johns Hopkins was the fifth-straight nationally ranked opponent BU has faced, coming in at number two in Division III.
The Bison found themselves in an early 5-2 hole at halftime, and could never overcome the deficit.
Freshman Bradley Roslyn was a big offensive contributor, dropping in three goals for Bucknell. Senior Adam Yerkes also had three points, with three assists in the contest.
Sophomore Ernest Martin recorded 10 saves, despite allowing eight goals.
The Orange and Blue fall to 8-15 overall. Bucknell is in action next on November 1 when it takes on Washington & Jefferson at 7:10 p.m. in the first game of the Southern Division Championship held at Princeton.
